Every row-level change that Zipline processes from a source counts as one event - whether it's an INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE. Events are counted at ingestion, not at delivery. If you fan a single source event out to five sinks, it still counts as one event. Your first 100 million events each calendar month are always free on the Team plan.

Each row-level change captured via CDC (change data capture) or each message consumed from a streaming source counts as one event. A row updated ten times produces ten events. Schema evolution, metadata messages, and heartbeat records used for offset tracking do not count toward your event total.
